Wisconsin Cousins

PopPop holding our newest addition, Tessa.

Auntie Liz and family came to visit Texas for a week.  We missed their visit last year because we were in South Carolina, so we were especially excited to visit this year and do a 'meet and greet' with the two new cousins, Cannon and Tessa.  I have such a special relationship with my many cousins, my hope is for my children to forge those same bonds with theirs.

Who's that sweet baby?!  Why, that's my sweetie pie Cannon!  He seems to have turned the corner and is becoming sweeter everyday!  Perhaps this is due to the extensive prayers from his Godmother Bailey?

My Bruisers prepped and looking handsome for a photo shoot for their Grammy.

Gavin's infectious smile.

Cute outfits? Check.  Kids all in one location? Got it.  Great location with perfect shading?  Yep.  Getting all the kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile?  Impossible.

Like all good cousins/boys/middle-children/Gavin's, he took full opportunity of Sam's less-than-enthusiastic feelings towards picture taking and relentlessly teased him.  Leaving Sam frustrated.

Finally, he took matters into his own hands.  Literally, his own hands it took to shut his cousin up.

And like most boys, minutes later, all was forgotten.

Bergman grandsons.

Grammy had but two requests: a picture of her children and grandchildren.  I kid you not, this picture was harder then the grandchildren!  The fussing and complaining was relentless!

Sam giving a skeptical look at the camera.  Or perhaps the look was directed at the man behind the camera, Uncle Steve.  Sam was much happier when his mom, Aunt Liz, took over the picture taking.

Cutie Tessa.  She was go-with-the-flow with all the boys running a muck around her.

Hopefully we have another visit next year chock-full of more playing and visiting!
